Pant Hospital - Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) Project: Basic Study: Microsurgical anatomy of Cavernous Plexus in Human Cadavers by Stereoscopic Dissection. Clinical Study: a) Role of Corpectomy and Microsurgical Decompression in long term outcome in Multi-segmental Cervical Spondylosis.b) Early surgical intervention and outcome in partial spinal cord injury. (Paper presented in 10th International Congress of Neurological Surgery, 1993, Mexico).

He also had the opportunity to visit and train under Neurosurgeons in NIMHANS, Bangalore, especially Professor B. S. Das, who was then the head of the department and an expert on managing CV Junction anomalies. He completed his term as research associate, in GB Pant Hospital, before moving on to join the Neurosurgery faculty in SCTIMST, Trivandrum, Kerala, one of the leading Institutions and Superspecialty hospitals in Asia.
